Old Saybrook Resident Charged with Additional Tax Crimes Deirdre M. Daly, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, and Joel P. Garland, Special Agent in Charge of IRS Criminal Investigation in New England, today announced that a federal grand jury in New Haven has returned a six-count superseding indictment charging DAVID ADAMS, 56, of Old Saybrook, with additional tax offenses. On May 3, 2016, the grand jury returned an indictment charging ADAMS with one count of tax evasion and one count of filing a false tax return for the 2011 tax year.
